SanDiego Homes Inc. is and continues to closely monitor all information and guidelines concerning COVID-19. We have implemented additional precautions to protect the health and welfare of our SanDiego Homes families, customers and fellow Canadians at this time. In response to updated information from Health Ontario and Health Canada please note the following changes:
Effective immediately until further notice

Wed-Fri: closed (by appointment only)
1 – Model Homes CLOSED in Angus (Riverside Living) and in Innisfil (Lakeside Living).
2 – Sales / Presentation centre for Angus is CLOSED. Available by appointment only.
3 – Sales / Presentation centre for Innisfil is OPEN. Regular business hours in effect. Private appointments available as well.

PURCHASER CLOSING DATES
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic in respect of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. The impacts of this pandemic could possibly mean that certain New Home builders may be able to extend home delivery timelines under the Unavoidable Delay provisions of the mandatory supplement to the New Home purchase agreements called the “Addendum” if, for example, the pandemic results in labour or supply disruptions and/or unavailability of governmental permits or approvals.
As of today, SanDiego Homes does not anticipate a delay in closing for our purchasers. We are closely and continuously monitoring the situation on a minute-to-minute basis and as of now, we have no reason to anticipate a delay of closing. If the situation is to change, we will notify our purchasers immediately.
During this pandemic, TARION will not consider Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) a requirement prior to the closing of your home. TARION recommends that the builders conduct the PDI on behalf of the homeowners, and that homeowners conduct their own “delivery” inspections as soon as reasonably possible after possession. Again, we will continue to monitor the situation and we will organize PDI’s on a case-by-case basis, with the health and safety of our homeowners being our top priority.
HOMEOWNER AFTER-CLOSING CARE
As per TARION’s official statement issued on March 13, 2020, reluctance to open your home for trades and builders will not be viewed by TARION as denied access during this period. Similarly, builders and their trades and suppliers who do not wish to enter a home are not expected to do so.
All builder repair timelines will be suspended until April 13, 2020. For example, if March 13th is day 65 of a repair period, then day 66 would be on April 14th. This does not apply to emergency or health and safety items and TARION will review the timeline and advise of any extensions to the suspension prior to April 13, 2020.
SanDiego Homes will continue to issue repairs on a case-by-case basis. Homeowners are not expected to allow us access for repairs. We will notify homeowners immediately if a trade, contractor, or supplier is unable to complete a repair during this time.
